Aleko Nanadze

Vault Partners incarnates Aleko’s experience in a wide array of domains as he has held senior legal roles in multiple industries, such as oil and gas, telecom, international consulting at EY, financial technology and data center infrastructure.
Trained as a legal and finance graduate overseas, he subsequently obtained MSc of Public Policy at London School of Economics (LSE) specializing in administration and economics.
Leveraging his diverse background in multiple disciplines and industries, in synergy with his partners at Vault, Aleko has an ability to identify top tier experts, bringing them together to build high performing teams.
Nicola Mariani
Co Founder
Nicola is an established cross-border deal architect. A legal strategist bridging international frontiers between Europe and North America.
Nicola brings two decades of engineering in M&A deals and untangling transactional complexities. His experience and network as a former chief legal officer and Partner of international law firms, transformed him into a visionary deal maker in private equity markets.
He implements his strategic vision through his experience of negotiations, deal making and reconciliation techniques and is leading the private equity arm of the Vault Partners.
Archil Giorgadze

As an international lawyer covering eastern Europe, Archil Giorgadze specializes in cross-border M&A, foreign investments, and project financing.
With over two decades of experience, he’s a former National Partner at Dechert LLP and CEO of JSC Nenskra, where he led major infrastructure projects.
Ranked in Chambers Global and Chambers Europe for his M&A expertise, Archil is known for his ability to navigate complex transactions, and his success in securing strategic deals. He’s also an Adjunct Professor of Law at Tbilisi Free University and Founder of the National Center of Business Law in Georgia.
Jeremy Sewell

David Khubua
Head of CFO Services
Davit Khubua specializes in M&A advisory, with a strong focus on industrial and German SMEs as well as DAX-listed companies which he focused on during his tenure at Deloitte in Munich.
David has led comprehensive due diligence, carve-outs, and post-merger integration projects for multinational clients in sectors such as healthcare, specialty chemicals, and industrial manufacturing.
Currently in London, he works with funds specializing in financial restructuring and distressed M&A transactions. This combination of restructuring and strategic M&A advisory has made him a key advisor for transactions involving UK, Germany and broader European markets.
Davit holds MSC in Accounting and Finance from LSE and is a CFA Level III.
Ana Kochiashvili
Senior Counsel
Ana Kochiashvili is a corporate lawyer with international experience in strategic transactions, regulatory compliance, and legal risk management. She advises on M&A, energy and infrastructure, financial regulation, and technology law, helping businesses operate confidently in complex legal environments.
Ana advises executive teams and boards on aligning legal risk with commercial strategy. Her experience includes cross-border acquisitions, complex regulatory matters, and public-private partnerships. She has also represented the Government of Georgia in ICSID proceedings and international tax and energy disputes.
Ana supports C-suite and board-level decisions by integrating legal, commercial, and compliance insights. She has led legal work on acquisitions, financing deals, and governance reform, with additional expertise in fintech, blockchain regulation, real estate, and securities law.
Ana holds a Master of Corporate Law from the University of Cambridge and is recognised for her pragmatic approach, sharp analytical skills, and commercially focused legal insight.
Liza Beruashvili
Project Manager
Liza is a Project Manager at Vault, where she leads and coordinates day-to-day project operations.
With a background in the implementation of development projects, Liza brings experience in strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and managing donor relations and reporting obligations.
Previously, Liza served as a Program Associate at the Center for International Private Enterprise. Her work supported efforts to promote fair labour practices and strengthen business associations.
Liza has also been involved in initiatives funded by BMZ, USAID, the NATO Public Diplomacy Division, and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, focusing on building community capacity to address social challenges, improving public health outreach, supporting economic inclusion for minority groups, and strengthening youth engagement in democratic governance.
Liza holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Free University of Tbilisi.
